Continuing issues with Apple Mail and Mavericks. Manual Workaround

Ever since OS X Mavericks was released, some customers using the built-in Mail.app application have repeatedly had issues retrieving new mail messages, deleting or moving messages, and more. Some of the problems were fixed in an update released back in November, and then in OS X 10.9.1, but for some, the issues retrieving new messages persist. Some users(...)

How to Fix Randomly Disconnecting Bluetooth Keyboards and Devices

http://osxdaily.com/2013/05/06/fix-bluetooth-device-disconnecting/   Bluetooth devices are usually extremely reliable, but every once in a while something can start acting up and either lose it’s connection with the Mac completely, or suddenly develop a flaky connection. With something like the Apple Wireless Keyboard, a Magic Trackpad, or a Magic Mouse, it’s fairly obvious when something is going(...)

What People are Saying

David helped me organize my macbook pro setup and more importantly taught me how to use it more efficiently. He puts you in the drivers seat to learn by application and is very resourceful. When it comes to managing your time and how to use your own tools, his consulting is money well spent!

If anyone needs help with their Mac, David is your man. Not only is he friendly, very smart, and easy to work with but he’s fast and really knows his “stuff”. He was the lead Genius at the Apple store, so you know he’s good. He can even go remote work if you need help and you can watch him work his magic on your computer. My company will be using him whenever we have any questions or trouble with any Mac product we have. I give him two thumbs up and five stars. He’s worth every penny.

David is the real deal. He made it possible for me to send this review. Very knowledgeable, professional and patient. David was able to trouble shoot and solve all of my network problems. I called him this morning in a panic and he was able to squeeze me in as the last appointment of his day. Give him a call and save yourself the stress. Worth every dime.

Been a Mac man ever since 1993 (true!) and have had only a couple “emergencies” in that time.  Yesterday was a doozy.  My Mac Mail program lost all my email accounts and all of my correspondence, etc.  I have a big event coming up this weekend and I was in a panic!!  I contacted David Thiele of “Mac-A-Wish” and, by using a remote program, he restored my accounts, cleaned up corrupted files and got back ALL of my correspondence…within an hour!  I was amazed!  Now, he’s coming to my office next week to upgrade my machine to Snow Leopard.  Bottom line, he saved me and my business.  I can’t say enough about David, his people skills (he calmed me down immediately), his knowledge of Mac computers and programs.  AND, his prices are better than anyone out there!

I strongly recommend David Thiele and his Mac-A-Wish business.  I also recommend storing his contact info in your address book.  You never know when mayhem will strike!  Thanks David….

I found David through Craigslist. He just spent two hours cleaning up 4 years of accrued glitches and problems. He’s really smart and very savvy about Macs. When we were looking for internal hard drives for my Mac Pro, he knew that there had been flooding in the country where they were manufactured and that it had caused a temporary shortage, and said I should wait for a while and prices should go down. So, that was really helpful, and he didn’t even need to tell me that. From now on, he’s my go to guy for all my Macs.
